

Meat from the Morainic Hills
The generous meadows of the morainic hills produce top-quality pork and beef: in 1900, during the international exhibition in Paris, cattle from this area was awarded a prize for the best meat, salami and cheese production breeds. Particularly noteworthy is the Morenico De.C.O. (municipality name of origin) salami and beef salami made from the Pozzolengo breed of cattle.
