Terme di Sirmione is equipped to treat the following skin pathologies:
- Psoriasis (excluding the pustular and erythrodermic forms): this is a disease that causes reddening and shedding of the skin and has a chronic, recurrent course. The symptoms are bright red patches, covered in layers or whitish or silver dry scales: they can concern the whole body but above all the knees, elbows, scalp, lumbosacral region and the nails.
- Atopical dermatitis or constitutional eczema: this is the most common form of dermatitis in children. It occurs usually between the first and sixth month of life, with skin manifestations at the sides of the face, in the folds of limbs, on the neck and on the hands. In older children and in adults it tends to restrict itself to limited areas such as the perioral region, the eyelids and the back of the hands.
- Contact dermatitis: this is caused by the action of substances that produce cellular damage is applied to the skin. Symptoms are itchiness, reddening of the skin, swelling, blisters, scabs and shedding of the skin surface.
- Allergic dermatitis
- Seborrheic dermatitis: this is a dermatosis that effects adults and children. It is characterised by erythematic, flaky localised blotches, especially on the scalp, face, ears, thorax, back and pubic region.
